Every day Boxers I prefer to wear wool boxers compared to cotton. The comfort level is so much better. In fact I have purged all my cotton undergarments. December 2, 2015
Way sorts of wrong. Not designed by a man. Okay - Someone please explain to me the cut of these briefs. The cut on the buttocks is weird and the cut of the fly is a complete disaster. I hang out of the fly all day long. I love, love, love merino wool. I truly can't understand what Icebreaker was thinking when designing these briefs. There is no way a manly-man can wear these with any comfort. This product would not be approved by Brett Favre. November 19, 2015
Quality seems good, fit is poor Bought this item for hiking/backcountry etc based mostly on the good reviews here. They definitely seem to be of good quality, but they aren't comfortable. I think it's mostly a fit issue. For reference - I'm 6'1" and 185lbs, so fairly tall and slim. The rear-crotch area rides up, and despite the lack of back seam, the "v-shape" of the two back seams still seem to work inward. It might be just how they fit my body...but I've bought countless other boxer briefs of the same size that have been of excellent comfort, so why are these different? I'm just really disappointed because what I was expecting to be a great pair of boxer briefs for hikes etc, are so uncomfortable I'll likely only wear them on laundry day. I'd return them in a second, but the return policy is against it (and I get it - they're underwear!) but really...how am I supposed to have realized they would be so uncomfortable without wearing them? Good day-to-day underwear First pair of Icebreaker underwear. Picked these up to try it for day-to-day wear, and 200 are a good weight, comparable to regular cotton ones but with the added bonus of merino properties. July 10, 2015
Excellent for Hiking Husband wore these for several days hiking - he said they were awesome and liked them better for activewear than the normal relaxed Icebreakers boxers he wears. They also look great if I do say so myself! ;) June 8, 2015
A little bit longer than anatomica I have only worn these boxers twice so I cannot vouch for their durability but they are very confortable. When I compare them with the anatomica, they are a little bit looser (but not too loose), and a little bit longer. I bought them because I find the anatomica too short (even if I wear them low) and these are a bit better but still too short in my opinion which is why I only give 4/5. March 25, 2015
Love Em'...! Excellent for shoulder seasons, love the thicker band. Glad I'm not allergic to Merino. Whatever brand we like, Merino is just super silky, cool/warm and I look forward to wearing it everyday. November 2, 2014
Everyday wear Great fit and seem to absorb moisture when active. Highly recommend these. September 27, 2014
200 weight boxers The weight is fine. I was concerned that the 200 would be too heavy, compared to the old 150. These are great! July 5, 2014
More boxer, less brief These briefs do not provide the support that the discontinued sport brief provided. I'm a little disapointed. March 21, 2014
Flawless 200gm-weight fabric is perfect for underwear, as the lighter weight (~150gm) fabric tends to rip and not last as long. I have the previous version of these and they've held up quite well over the the past few years and expect these to be the same. Fit is somewhat tighter than the photo makes it seem, they are *not* baggy. Inseam length is 3.25 inches which is short enough so they don't feel like wearing larger boxers, but long enough that they don't turn into de-facto briefs after a day of wearing them. Highly recommended. January 13, 2014
Very nice, but I like the older model better I wear these just as everyday / casual cold weather underwear. Very comfortable. Warm. So far durable. Older model 2+ years old. The older model does not have side seams on the outside of thigh, while not a major gripe is a small step backward in my opinion. Also the fly opening on the newer model has less material to cover my groin, and parts a little bit when worn, so that there is less material for coverage. Both models could use a smaller in height waistband as they tend to roll over in use. And the inside seam on the inner thigh could be flatlock stitched as well, but that is just a small detail. Overall I would definitely recommend these to friends, but with the caveat about the items above. Also loved the ease with which the tag was removed, nice idea on the perforation. December 16, 2013
Comfort While Working It gets hot here in the summer. You work up a good sweat working in the yard then take a break contemplating why the same bloody robin has to take 23 baths a day knocking all the water out of the bird bath so that no one else has any. And people think blue jays are rude. Anyway, the sweat has cooled and normally you'd be chilled and clammy, you know, "down there." But not with Icebreaker! Your underwear is the same temperature as your body. It's like another layer of skin. Sweet! September 5, 2013
NOT comfortable - in my opinion Crotch is too high, elastic doesn't hold them "square" with your body, so you end up with a sideways wedgie and, eh hem, some discomfort in the front too. September 4, 2013
Great boxer Once you wear these boxers you will never go back to anything else. I wear them everywhere and they're good for any activity. The couple issues i have are the price, the extra overhead of washing them, and how long they last. They're much more expensive than any other boxer, but still worth it in my opinion. When washing you can't put them in the dryer which is always a pain. Finally, they will wear out after about 1-1.5 years. The wool gets thin and they eventually start falling apart. August 7, 2013
