Plastic Free July is a chance to look at the things you can change in your life to help lower your impact on the environment and create positive new habits. Rebecca Prince-Ruiz, the founder of Plastic Free July, shares her plastic-free journey and tips.

Rebecca created the first Plastic Free July challenge in 2011 with a small team in Australia. It has since grown to a global movement with 250 million people taking part each year. She's worked in environmental and waste management for 25 years and is passionate about helping to create a world without plastic waste.

Our new retail stores are a space to enjoy lower impact living, including having a drink in one of our ceramic cups and refilling at our water stations.

Modeling the latest in recycled paper, and with no adhesives or toxins, our papier-mâché mannequins replace plastic ones in our new store openings.

This year we’ve started phasing in low-impact packaging, which is proven to have no adverse impacts on marine life and is non-toxic.
